Without setting up USMT CrashPlan doesn't backup profiles. It shows something when looking at the device but notice it is in red. Meaning nothing was backed up.

This is a problem that is created when CrashPlan is installed in an administrator profile. For CrashPlan to backup it must be installed under the profile that you want backed up. IF you normally do software installs from a different or admin profile then have the user login it will not work properly.
We were having the same issue and when I went to Evolution17 I was able to talk to some of the engineers on this. There is also an API script that will go through and identify the users that are not being backed up due to this issue. I will look for it as they were giving it to those that took the API course at Evolution17.
