CP Backing up non-user in error

Has anyone experienced CP backing up non-user profiles by default? (All CP client settings are locked and unchangeable by the end user) For example: The user is logged in, CP is set to back up their user profile, but CP backs up the "Administrator" profile instead.

Without setting up USMT CrashPlan doesn't backup profiles.  It shows something when looking at the device but notice it is in red.  Meaning nothing was backed up.

Think the term profile is confusing the issue.

Crashplan is deployed and in some cases it starts backing up data from under the administrator in windows and in some cases on the mac _mbsetupuser, as opposed to the data under the user's profile.

This is a problem that is created when CrashPlan is installed in an administrator profile.  For CrashPlan to backup it must be installed under the profile that you want backed up.  IF you normally do software installs from a different or admin profile then have the user login it will not work properly.

We were having the same issue and when I went to Evolution17 I was able to talk to some of the engineers on this.  There is also an API script that will go through and identify the users that are not being backed up due to this issue.  I will look for it as they were giving it to those that took the API course at Evolution17.

Installing under the "administrator" logon and selecting "everyone"  on the Installation Type screen will allow the program to run under any user that is logged in.  I believe this is the recommended selection from the CrashPlan install documents.
I haven't seen any problem with installing under administrator and backing up under a licensed user.
