On November 16th, a notification was sent regarding the 8.8.0 Code42 app release. This release was removed due to a non-security issue; a new fix will be available soon.
If you have already upgraded to version 8.8.0, no further action is required at this time. As part of the November 16th notification, a reference to CVE-2021-43269 was outlined. This CVE will be remediated in the next app release, but you can also remediate manually.
We are not aware of any attempts to actively exploit this vulnerability. We will be delaying the full publication of CVE-2021-43269 until approximately 30 days after the patch has been available.
